The Medway Handyman is a family run business, established in 2006 with many years of experience of all sorts of handyman services. We work for both domestic and commercial customers in and around the Medway Towns; including Gravesend, Rochester, Chatham, Gillingham, Rainham, Maidstone & surrounding areas. We can help with Carpentry, Plumbing, Electrics, Home Security, Flat Pack Assembly, Painting, Garden Services and General Handyman Services.
We have all kinds of specialised tools and the experience to enable us to do the job in the minimum amount of time. Not only are we able to cope with small jobs - being multi trade, we can do them for less than the cost of employing several specialist tradesman - and we can cope with larger jobs as well.

What exactly does a handyman do?
First & foremost he is a 'multi trade' craftsman, able to do lots of different jobs efficiently.
Many people don't have the time, inclination, knowledge or specialist tools required to do DIY tasks themselves, but they can't find a tradesman willing to take on smaller jobs.
For example, it can be difficult to get a plumber to fix a tap that drips.
Plumbers are usually geared up for larger jobs, like installing a complete bathroom or heating system.
Life becomes even more complicated if you have a list of different smaller jobs; a dripping tap, a sticking front door, a crack in a wall and a broken dimmer switch.

The first hour on site is charged at J45 and includes all travel costs within the ME & DA postcode areas.

We are familiar with all the major makes of flat packs and we even have a stock of those little fittings that sometimes get 'lost'!
